About the Wine Walk

Enjoy Wine Country in the Heart of San Mateo! Wine Walk is an annual fundraising event for the Downtown San Mateo Association, a non-profit organization representing more than 800 businesses in Downtown San Mateo, California. The Wine Walk is the Association's premier event to help promote and showcase Downtown's unique character and its abundant shops, restaurants and businesses. Visitors to San Mateo purchase a wine glass and tasting tickets and visit businesses sampling wines and hors d'oeuvres. This event attracts people from all over the bay area. As a courtesy to others, please leave your pets at home. Please remember to bring a valid ID. Thank you for your cooperation. Capture a Wine Walk Moment! Carl Ward’s Photography SF Studio and Fine Art Gallery in San Mateo, located at 25 S. Ellsworth Avenue is one of this year’s Wine Walk sponsors. During the event, professional photographers will be walking around the event capturing special moments and gathering families and friends for group pictures. These pictures will be available at the Photography SF booth located in the Wine Garden on 3rd Avenue at San Mateo Drive the night of the Wine Walk, or online at www.photographysf.com.   You can purchase a 4”x6” or 8”x10” print at a special Wine Walk price. Along with your purchase, you will be entered into a raffle to win a family portrait, up to five people in the studio or at a local location of your choice. So on the day of Wine Walk, while you’re enjoying your wine, family, friends and food, remember to wave down a Photography SF professional photographer, wearing a signature black polo shirt, to capture a memory for you.
